This story is about the women that own a bakery that has been passed down to them from their mom and grandmother. There are two sisters and their cousin that have worked together from when they were young. One of the sisters has a teenaged daughter that wants nothing more than to be popular. She has to learn the hard way what you really want in a friend. I love how her mom deals with things that she does. There are so many lessons in this book for the adults and kids. I love the older men that want to help in their own ways and how they need doughnuts every day. There is also a woman that is like an honorary grandmother that the family loves to have with them. She is fun and I think she would be a super fun friend. I can’t recommend this book enough.
